Sometime's I get so excited I post while editing. That should be a key sign that this is blog-worthy; right? So here it is! The big question....

Why am I obsessed with Maternity sessions?

I didn't exactly feel pretty when pregnant, let alone sexy. I spent the majority of my pregnancy hiding under large sweatshirts, baggy pants, and flip flops, cause let's be honest, even sneakers were too tight on my feet. I don't know when maternity photography took off, but I am sure glad it did. God made women beautiful, but our bodies take on challenges that bring forth miracles. Our bodies stretch and swell and once upon a time, it wasn't pretty. It was asked to be hidden, even breastfeeding is a bit taboo. (Ridiculous if you ask me) But that's for another blog entry when I get a mommy willing to share her session posing while breastfeeding her little one. (if that's you, call me girl)

Today, well... Come on do I need to explain; just look at these photos.

Elizabeth called me months ago with the news of her pregnancy and she is one of those mommy's to be that permitted me to share her images. I get calls all the time where women feel worn out, exhausted, and stretched out. However, excited to capture what is happening. This isn't just "cute" this is everything! You're capturing the miracle, and if you know me, I am all about capturing miracles.
