About those reschedules and cancellations....
We had a few apples.....
As you know it only takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch, but as of late it's been a few. Our calendar is based on what's convenient for the majority of our clients which is normally nights and weekends. I love what I do, however both Krystal and I lose out on our weekends with family and friends to be available for our clientele.
We normally pack in our Saturdays and Sundays to make sure we make the best use of our time in the studio however as of late we have had a great deal of cancellations or rescheduling request. I get sometimes it's out of your control and it has to happen and we will always accommodate your busy schedule. So I figured I write this email to give you some insight on our end.
Last weekend we had a cancellation in our schedule the morning of. We had two moms that made late night appointments during the week because we could not fit them into our schedule. Had we had 48hour notice we could've shifted things around for everyones convenience. Also our team gets paid whether you show up or not, which is a loss to the business.
Since we are now on the topic of money let's discuss payment arrangements. If you are a lifecycle client most likely you are on payment arrangements. I don't want to lose my faith in people but as the title states we have had a few bad apples. If you are struggling with making the payments, please call me as we can always work something out. But this is a business and I have been robbed of time and finance on many occasions.
With that said I want to communicate again what is in your contract:
All payments must be up to date prior to your photography session
48 hours are needed to reschedule your session
NEW: Implementing a $50.00 reschedule or cancellation fee for under 48hr notice.
We love what we do and we want this business to flourish and be sustainable. We have been extremely lenient on these rules but as of July 1st 2023 they are being enforced. I know photography is not cheap, but neither has been our time, education, resources, softwares, and gear.
Thank you for your business, we value you and your family I hope you value our business as well to adhere to the rules of your contract.
Regards
Zaibel
