Tis the season

It's that time of year again!

Everyone is in the stores, a few people are feeling the anxiety of their list of people they have yet to get too. The Holiday's has a way of stealing one's joy and before you know it you are hanging on a thread for dear life, or in our case on the Christmas lights.

This is our first family session in years believe it or not. The one who is always telling people to get your photo's done before your family grows up is the last to get her's done. So this year I wanted to have fun with ours, but it didn't start that way. My granddaughter, my top model, decided that today of all days she was going to be a three year old (which she is). She fussed, argued and cried through the first ten minutes and I lost hope in my Christmas photos (take note of Ellie's face above).

But my husband and all his infinite wisdom made it into a game, which turned this session into one for the books. We really did laugh in these photo's in the gallery below. It's a memory I will carry with me forever. And if I ever forget, I have the photo's to remind me.

Don't make the hustle and bustle of the Holiday more important than your family.
